Feature Wedding: Ann and Brian: Celebrations at the Bay

The Bay weddings are just so beautiful and all of the vintage touches that Ann brought into her look were just stunning.  Heather Z Photography was the photographer for the big day and I love all of the pier shots she got!
What a view!

It looked like such a fun wedding.  Congratulations Ann and Brian!

Kim and Jake's Wedding is featured in Brides Magazine!!!!

I have been waiting for the Fall/ Winter issue of Maryland Bride magazine for quite some time now because one of our Oh so fabulous brides has a two page spread in it.  Kim and Jake were married last labor day weekend and Kelley and I had the pleasure of doing the hair and makeup for the wedding.  Here are photos from the magazine but if you want to see more photos from the wedding taken by Ego Media Photography then check them out here.

Feature Wedding: Stacy and Jon: Baltimore Makeup Artist

I LOVED this wedding.  I know I seem to always say that but I really am so fortunate to work with the best brides and I love what I do.  So I apologize for being redundant.  Stacy is the most contagiously fun person you will ever meet and I was so honored to be among the list of the stellar vendors that she chose for her wedding day.  Stacy doesn't wear much makeup at all so she was soooooo excited to be glammed up for the big day.  She really was stunning and I am so glad that one of my favorite photographers, Maria Vicencio, was there to document the day.  Here are a few of her all star vendors.....

Make-up- Amie Decker
Event Planner- Kate Beck Events

Congratulations Stacy and Jon!

Feature Wedding:1840's Ballroom: Baltimore Hair and Makeup

So we are in the midst of full blown Wedding season and I have some wonderful weddings to blog to show you what we have been up to the last couple of months.  The feature wedding today is a fabulous Baltimore wedding shot by Shelby Leigh Photography.  Kelley did all of the hair for the wedding and JoAnna did all of the makeup.  I love my team, they are fabulous!

I wanted to share what the bride had to say about working with our team......
"Amie Decker Makeup was fantastic in every way...responsive, friendly and flexible in email communication. I later met with JoAnna and Kelley at Kelley's home on Mother's Day because that was the only day convenient for me...which was incredibly kind of them. They were both so friendly and confident, which was exactly what I needed as a indecisive bride!

On the day of my wedding they arrived at my hotel to my huge entourage of 10 bridesmaids, ready to go. My girls loved their looks and felt totally comfortable telling the ladies exactly what they were looking for.

I personally loved my hair and makeup, which is so important on the day that everyone is taking photos of you. I loved Kelley's straightforward attitude and JoAnna's calming personality. They were the perfect pair.

Thank you, ladies, for helping me have a wonderful day!!!"

Now for the amazing photos!!!!

Feature Wedding: The Wedding Bee: Chesapeake Bay Beach Club

Megan was such a delightful bride and Kelley and I really loved working with her.  Megan is one of the bloggers on The Wedding Bee and from reading her blog you can see how much thought and creativity she put into this wedding.  If you want to check it out, her name on the blog is Mrs. Guinea Pig (because she is a scientist, cute huh).  The ceremony and reception took place at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club and they had a beautiful WINDY day.  Amy Deputy was the photographer and it was such an honor to work with her.  Here are some of my favorite photos but it was so difficult to just pick a few.  Enjoy!

I love this makeup picture!  It has to be one of my favorite photos ever of me applying makeup.  I just can't even describe why it makes me so happy.

Such a romantic picture!  This photos belongs on a canvas above the mantle:)

Congratulations Guinea Pigs!

Get your Tan On!!!!!

I am so excited to announce that we are now offering airbrush tanning!!!!  Some of you may be thinking, "I don't know about a spray tan, I don't want to look orange."  Have no fear, this airbrush tanning is AH- Mazing.  I had seen many brides sit in my chair with a beautiful even tan and when I asked them about it they said it was actually airbrush, which definitely peeked my interest.  So when it came time for me to be a bridesmaid in my sister-in-laws wedding (which was at the end of December) I decided to give it a try.  HUGE FAN!  This is a picture of the tan me below......

Why spend hours of your time and cause damage to your skin when you can get a safe gorgeous golden glow in just minutes. Whether you are extremely fair or dark olive, the airbrush tanning is a healthy and easy way for you to have a beautiful and natural sun-kissed look. To make it even easier, we travel to you!

A beautiful, sun kissed complexion is the #1 fashion accessory of all time and health/medical professionals agree a faux tan is the only safe alternative. We offer a special organic product called Vani-T. Feature Wedding: Amie and Nathan: Vintage Love Bird Theme

I LOVED everything about this wedding.  Not only do the bride and I share the same name but we have also been friends since we were kids and it was such an honor to be her makeup artist on her wedding day.  Amie and Nathan were married at the Baltimore Zoo and I have to say, I was a huge fan of the venue.  The ceremony was outside in front of a lily pond and the reception took place in the mansion house near by. The detail shots are at the bottom of the post in a collage put together by Meaghan Elliott.  The paper products were designed by Paper Possibilities and all of the details for the wedding were so creative and thoughtful (right down to the makeup and hair).  Kelley created an amazing 1940's inspired style for Amie, complete with the birdcage veil.  We went for a vintage feel with Amie's makeup also but modernized it with the hot pink lips which are very big this season.  LOVE it!
When Amie told me she got engaged she asked what photographer she should hire.  I was so happy when she decided to go with Meaghan Elliott Photography who captured the day so beautifully.

Fantastic Wedding!  Congratulations Amie and Nathan.
