Happy B-Day Jenn

So the official birthday is November 1st but I am a little busy the next few days with Halloween and weddings and all so I decided to throw out my wishes early. This is my tribute to you Jenn, my only blog follower to date, on your birthday. I wish I could be with you so I could do your makeup and watch your baby Ella for you to have a fabulous night out with your hubby. I guess these pictures of the old days will have to do. Love you.

Anniversary

I thought I would do a tribute to Tracey who just celebrated her one year anniversary. It was almost a year ago exactly that I was doing her makeup for her wedding. I was pregnant, of coarse, as I am for most weddings. But I was newly pregnant and very nauseous but I don't think it showed. Tracey and her sister are obviously twins but they each had their own unique look for the special event. They are such sweet girls and I had a great time helping everyone get ready (despite the nausea). Thanks for the pictures Tracey, Happy Anniversary!

How We Met

One of my favorite things to find out about brides when we meet for a trial is how they met their fiance. Basically, I am a sucker for romance and I get to hear so many sweet stories. My story is pretty simple. When I was in Kindergarten there was an "older" boy, in first grade, who was the cutest thing I had ever seen. My little 5 year old self had no choice but to fall in love with him and he is now my husband. I know this is hard to believe but it really did happen. Of coarse we did not get married until much later.

So maybe one day I will write a book about all of the beautiful stories I hear about people meeting through school, sports, vacation, websites, friends, work, bars, church and even speed dating. I'd love to hear your story.

A Piece of my World

I love what I do! I get to be a part of the best day of a woman's life and my role is to make her the most beautiful she has ever felt. I am so lucky. I have the opportunity to meet women of all walks of life, all different ages and different nationalities. I meet teachers and doctors, lawyers and students, accountants and opera singers. It is such a pleasure to hear people's stories. All of these woman are in love and it is my job to make sure that love shows on their face. I love what I do!
