Featured Wedding: Gorgeous Gloria

It was such a pleasure for me to do the makeup for Gloria on her wedding day. The wedding took place at the Pier IV hotel in Baltimore and it was a star studded cast of vendors. One of which was the very talented Shane Carpenter of Shane Carpenter Weddings who was wonderful enough to share his masterpiece photography with me so I could blog about Gloria's wedding. I have to say that Gloria was an exquisite bride from head to toe and it was such an honor to have done her makeup. I don't always get to stay long enough to see the bride put on her dress but I decided that there was no way I was going to leave without seeing Gloria in her Vera Wang gown so I sat myself down on the couch until she was dressed and it lived up to every bit of my expectations. I have a lot of photos to share because, well, there were too many amazing ones too choose from. Great job Shane! Enjoy the beauty friends!

Okay, so at first I didn't get why Shane sent me this next picture and then…..I saw the sign for the woman's restroom. How hilarious is that?

Beautiful Basilica Bride

I had the pleasure of doing makeup for Julia and her family at her June wedding in Baltimore. I do not even need to say it because you can tell by the pictures but she was absolutely breathtaking. The ceremony was at the Basilica and the reception was at Rolling Road Country Club. I wish I could have been there because it looked like they had a wonderful time. Julia hired Maria Linz Photography to capture her moments through film on her special day and Maria was kind enough to share some of her photos with me. Hair and Makeup for E-Pics

Kelley and I will be doing Kris's hair and makeup for her wedding this Sunday but the first order of business was her engagement pictures. Kris does not ever wear makeup so she made a very smart decision to enlist a profesional (moi). I think many gals are afraid to get their makeup done for their wedding or engagement pictures because they are worried they will look "too done-up" or "like a drag queen". But as you can see by Kris's pictures, she looks entirely natural but her beautiful features are accentuated. Her skin looks flawless and her lips are the perfect shade of pink and she didn't have to worry about a thing. Kelley also did her hair for the engagement pictures which I think looked perfectly soft and feminine. The wonderful Jen Lowe photographed the session and she has more photos posted on her blog. I can't wait for the wedding!

Kate......The Encore

This is the eagerly anticipated "Encore" of Kate and Brad's wedding that Kelley and I participated in in April. Jen from Ego Media Photography just posted the rest of the photos on her website and I literally jumped up and down when I saw they were available. All of the girls looked absolutely stunning and I wanted to show off a few more of the beautiful photos from the wedding day.
