Introducing The Glam Squad

I have BIG news to announce, (no I am not pregnant again) Amie Decker Makeup has now become Amie Decker Makeup and HAIR. This has been a long time coming. I have been in search of a hair stylist to team up with for a while now and I am glad to say that Kelley was worth the wait. Kelley and I met at a wedding we did together back in April and we hit it off immediately. I feel very fortunate because not only is she a genius with hair (the best I have seen on the wedding circuit) but she has the same passion for people that I have. She has done it all, movies, fashion shoots, weddings and working in a salon and her talent is extraordinary. We have a lot of fun together and I can't wait to start working at the weddings TOGETHER.

Another new addition is my beautiful apprentice Carrie. Carrie has been working with me for a few months now and she shares my same makeup style and philosophy. My former apprentice, the fabulous Megan Rakers, has started Baltimore Bridal Makeup and I never thought I would be able to find someone as fantastic as Megan but I have truly been blessed with Carrie.

After assembling my new team, I just had to do a website makeover. If you have not had a chance to check it out yet, please do www.amiedeckermakeup.com. So I enlisted the amazing Jen Lowe to create the beautiful photos for the website. We had the best time getting all dolled up and then getting dirty in the name of creativity. I did Kelley's makeup and she did my hair and we headed to downtown Sykesville (my neck of the woods) for a good old fashion photoshoot. Jen was fantastic and I cannot thank her enough for the wonderful pictures she took. Here are some of my favorites.

This is my attempt at a sexy pose

Amie and Kelley, your makeup and hair Dream Team

BTW, not only is she talented but she is georgeous too. The nurve of some people.

Kelley borrowed my shoes for this shot. We happen to be the same size too. How perfect.

I love this shot. I thought it might be cute to get some pictures of us in veils for the Wedding page on the website.

Can you tell we had a good time? Walking on traintracks in high heels is not as easy as it looks.

I love this shot of Carrie on the caboose.

If you want to see some more pictures you can check out Jen Lowe's blog.
Thanks for viewing and I would love to hear your comments!
