Pretty in Pink

As soon as I met Emily, I could tell she was a girl after my own heart. She loves lashes, peonies, bling and pink, so we automatically clicked. I was fortunate to work with Emily and her bridal party, we had a blast. I just could not stop staring at her bouquet because it was so gorgeous and those bridesmaid dresses were HOT. Her wedding was on April 18th which happened to be what will most likely be the most gorgeous day Maryland sees all year. Brian Ray Photography in Annapolis photographed the wedding and Jamie from Baltimore Bridal hair did the fabulous hairstyling on all the ladies. And makeup was done by moi, of coarse. A Tribute to Bridesmaids

My sister-in-law is getting married in December and has asked me to be a bridesmaid. Since I am getting very excited about it, I decided to do a post saluting bridesmaids. It is such a great idea for all of the bridesmaids to get their makeup done, as well as the bride, on the wedding day. It makes for a very beautiful and cohesive bridal party and everyone looks so fantastic in pictures. I think it is so important that I have a very "low" price for bridesmaids (much lower than other makeup artists) as an incentive. I know how expensive it can be to be in a wedding so I think it is important not to charge an arm and a leg for a bridesmaid to get their makeup done. Here are some of the beautiful bridesmaids I have had the pleasure of working with.

Hello Spring

Since I am saying "Hello Spring", I have a "Good Bye Winter" post to share. I am kicking off a crazy wedding season this weekend so before I start sharing all the lovely spring weddings, I wanted to show one of the last weddings I did in December 2008. Elizabeth got married in Annapolis and had some beautiful outdoor shots, even in December. Jen from Ego Media was the photographer and Bella Bridal planned the event.

The ceremony was at the Naval Academy's chapel and the whole day was very charming, trolley ride and all.

Fabulous Details

I just loved the details from Lisa's wedding so much that I wanted to share some of them. Her bouquet had some of my favorite things in it (flowers, bling and feathers). Isn't it just fabulous?

I highly recommend a glass of white wine during the getting ready process.


I just loved Alisa's hair. We went for a hollywood glamore look with her makeup also.
