Feature Wedding: Stacy and Jon: Baltimore Makeup Artist

I LOVED this wedding.  I know I seem to always say that but I really am so fortunate to work with the best brides and I love what I do.  So I apologize for being redundant.  Stacy is the most contagiously fun person you will ever meet and I was so honored to be among the list of the stellar vendors that she chose for her wedding day.  Stacy doesn't wear much makeup at all so she was soooooo excited to be glammed up for the big day.  She really was stunning and I am so glad that one of my favorite photographers, Maria Vicencio, was there to document the day.  Here are a few of her all star vendors.....

Make-up- Amie Decker
Event Planner- Kate Beck Events

Congratulations Stacy and Jon!

Feature Wedding:1840's Ballroom: Baltimore Hair and Makeup

So we are in the midst of full blown Wedding season and I have some wonderful weddings to blog to show you what we have been up to the last couple of months.  The feature wedding today is a fabulous Baltimore wedding shot by Shelby Leigh Photography.  Kelley did all of the hair for the wedding and JoAnna did all of the makeup.  I love my team, they are fabulous!

I wanted to share what the bride had to say about working with our team......
"Amie Decker Makeup was fantastic in every way...responsive, friendly and flexible in email communication. I later met with JoAnna and Kelley at Kelley's home on Mother's Day because that was the only day convenient for me...which was incredibly kind of them. They were both so friendly and confident, which was exactly what I needed as a indecisive bride!

On the day of my wedding they arrived at my hotel to my huge entourage of 10 bridesmaids, ready to go. My girls loved their looks and felt totally comfortable telling the ladies exactly what they were looking for.

I personally loved my hair and makeup, which is so important on the day that everyone is taking photos of you. I loved Kelley's straightforward attitude and JoAnna's calming personality. They were the perfect pair.

Thank you, ladies, for helping me have a wonderful day!!!"

Now for the amazing photos!!!!

Feature Wedding: The Wedding Bee: Chesapeake Bay Beach Club

Megan was such a delightful bride and Kelley and I really loved working with her.  Megan is one of the bloggers on The Wedding Bee and from reading her blog you can see how much thought and creativity she put into this wedding.  If you want to check it out, her name on the blog is Mrs. Guinea Pig (because she is a scientist, cute huh).  The ceremony and reception took place at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club and they had a beautiful WINDY day.  Amy Deputy was the photographer and it was such an honor to work with her.  Here are some of my favorite photos but it was so difficult to just pick a few.  Enjoy!

I love this makeup picture!  It has to be one of my favorite photos ever of me applying makeup.  I just can't even describe why it makes me so happy.

Such a romantic picture!  This photos belongs on a canvas above the mantle:)

Congratulations Guinea Pigs!

Feature Wedding: Darcy and Nat: Chesapeake Bay Foundation

This was one of our favorite weddings ever.  Darcy and Nat are just head over heals in love and it was so special to witness their event.  Nat is in the Navy so they were actually married a few months ago right before he was deployed and they waited until now to have their vow renewal and reception in Annapolis with their family and friends.  The fabulous David Hartcorn was their photographer and the whole event took place at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.

Darcy is the quintessential beauty.  Doesn't she make you want to do a vow renewal?

I think the flowers in the hair has become one of Kelley's signature looks.  She added lilac to Darcy's hair and the lilac looked and smelled beautiful all day!
The ceremony was right on the bay and just looked so romantic.

And David Hartcorn made sure they had plenty of time for all of the special photos of the bride and groom.

Thanks Darcy and Nat for letting us be a part of such a meaningful day.  Congratulations!
